USA Italy Flag

Dear Clients,

We hope that you and your loved ones are all staying well physically and emotionally during this challenging time. Please be assured that all pending orders will be completed, however, there are some updates that are important for you to know about:

Translations: standard translations are not affected; we will complete all current translation orders and can accept new translation orders. If we are unable to print and mail translations from the office, we will share a PDF copy. If translations require authentication with Apostille or by the consulate (translations outside of US, criminal background check, Italian Embassy, DC), we will advise you if this step is needed upon completion of your translation.

Phone Consultations: not affected. We will continue to offer phone appointments even if we must work remotely.

Italian Vital Records: delays expected. Our staff in Italy have been in contact with the Comuni in Italy; most of the vital records offices are open but work is limited.

US Vital Records, US Naturalization Records, and US Apostille: may be delayed depending upon the Government Sources.

Via materna cases (court cases in Rome): Attorney Paiano is still accepting all cases for citizenship by descent of women (affected by the pre-1948 law), although court dates in Rome are delayed.

Travel to Italy Program is not in operation at this time.

New US vital record orders will not be taken at this time due to nonessential government office closures. We will complete all current orders for US vital records as soon as possible.

The Italian Consulates in the US are currently taking all scheduled citizenship appointments (the Consulate at Philadelphia has implemented mail-in applications); await contact from your consulate for any special and up-to-date instructions if you have a pending appointment. Many consulates send a confirmation email 3-10 days before the appointment (be sure to check junk/spam folders as their message could be sorted there by mistake). We advise that you check your Italian Consulate website for changes and confirm your appointment a few days in advance, in case you do not receive an email from their office.

Our office hours are limited as most team members are working remotely. To inquire on the status of an order, please email [email protected]. Please allow 48 hours (two business days) for a reply. For better assistance, please include your full name and the type of order that you are inquiring about in the subject line.

Thank you for being a valued customer and know that we remain committed to providing top quality services for you!
